The Purple Jalapeno Pepper Plant is slightly larger than the regular Jalapeno plant produces good yields of 2-3" long hot peppers. The plant is a beautiful type to show off in the garden with its dark greenish purple leaves. Fruit turns from green, to purple, to red when mature. Great ornamental version of the standard Jalapeno pepper. Slightly hotter than the normal Jalapeno because it sits on the vine longer to achieve its red/purple color. Great alternative to use in salsa for a colorful change. Capsicum Annuum.
